What kind of screen on time do you get?

It's time for me to move on from my old HTC one Max. It's been a great phone, particularly with regards to battery life. Want a G4, but I was wondering what kind of screen on time I could expect from it. I generally do things like web browsing over wifi, texting and watching YouTube.

Was wondering what users had found their screen on times to be like...

I seem to be getting close to 4 hours. Maybe a little more, little less. A full charge gets me through a day of moderate usage with plenty left over.

Would a single charge get you through a full day with heavy usage?

I'm getting about 4.5-5 hours SOT per day on a single charge. At least that's what Gsam projects. I hardly ever come close to so much screen time on a normal day.

I get on average 4 hours. I have gotten past 5 hours numerous times though.

I was actually using a 6200 mah extended battery for awhile and was legitimately projecting to 12 hours SOT per charge. The problem was that it made the phone so much heavier, which wasn't really what I was looking for on a daily basis. I figure I can always pop in the extended battery if I anticipate a heavy usage day without access to a charger.

I'd love a slightly bigger battery without going to a full double sized battery. Does anyone know of a 3800-4500 mah battery for the LG G4? I'm okay with having to use a different back plate.

Thanks for the responses. It's difficult to know what to take from all the reviews, they seem very mixed, plus I use my phone more like a tablet or PC for web browsing through the day. Last night as a test from about 98% charge I got around 3:30pm to 11:00pm with 6 hours SOT using wifi, chrome and texting and then my battery died (although I ate up the last 10% by jacking up the brightness on purpose, usually have it set to the lowest setting).

If you are using your phone like a tablet, I definitely recommend looking into an extended battery or battery case if you don't mind the weight. Otherwise, just carry a spare battery and you should always be good.

I've had my G4 since mid-June (until it died 2 weeks ago due to the infamous bootloop motherboard issue). I now have a refurb replacement on warranty, and it so far seems to be draining as my original G4 did.

I watched GSam pretty closely up through mid-late November. That included GSam resets after a Factory Data Reset and a couple of somewhat minor OS updates.

Over the long haul, I'd say the G4 has given me roughly similar battery life to the last GSam results I captured in November, which were 15 H 14 M overall battery life with 5 H 26 M SoT per Average Complete Charge.

I wonder if maybe a 6p would be a better bet?
