What phone app do you use?

I'm having an issue using the stock phone app. Sometimes, usually a telemarketer, the call comes thru. Other times the call never regisers. Then, at some later time, I find out there is a voicemail? There is no notification, I either reboot or dial into voicemail and find out I missed a call.

Are there any good, reliable phone apps I can try?

I don't know if it will help or not, but there is a beta version of the Google phone app available. If I remember correctly, go to the app store. look at your installed apps, scroll down to phone, open it, scroll down into the information and somewhere there is an option to join the beta program. See if that might help.

What carrier are you on?
I don't see that issue on Verizon.
Also if you have snap blocking enabled, some will get through, some won't.

I use Ting to supply TMO coverage. Not sure what you mean by snap blcoking but I don't have any numbers in blocked list.
