What phone are you coming from?

I miss Samsung Pay, the screen off note taking, the Super Amoled (blacks are way blacker than V10), smaller form factor (but the trade off is a more sturdier phone), wireless charging (my wireless pad is useless now), milk music, Samsung VR (I was planning on getting next month). But V10 has things note 5 doesn't have: removable battery, micro sd, buttons on the back (subjective but I really like it), second screen (which I do use), manual video editing (which I do use), lg promotion (200gb sd card, extra battery and cradle), price (cheaper than note 5) on screen buttons (subjective but I like it better than physical buttons) and ir blaster.

and supposedly they will release a back plate or charging sticker so we can also have wireless charging

The note 5 is an abomination. I have a note 3 and played with the note 5 in best buy. Yuck. The glass back was visibly caked in layers of peoples germy finger prints and slime.. slippery glass, no sd card no removable battery. not even a128gb version as a sorry.. I guess the display was nice... didnt wow me at all coming from a note 3 amoled though.

I'm coming from a Lumia Icon...figured I'd run with Android while Verizon and Microsoft figure out their business.

I left the nexus 6 for this phone. I'll miss the regular updates but this phone is incredible!

I will be moving from the Note 5 today to the V10. Dont like the slippery feeling of the phone and i dont want a case. The Samsung AMOLED screens look too washed out as well with the colors. I played around with the V10 yesterday at AT&T and seemed like a great phone. I dont use the stylus but just wanted a bigger phone from the IP6. IP6+ is too big for me

Any Note 5 users having regrets?

I'm having some regrets coming from the note 5 to this. For some reason I'm a little disappointed in the fingerprint scanner while having a case on. Now that I've had it for about a week I'm a little bit over the extra display. It really doesn't serve any purpose for me. Although I do like the resolution and the fact of the SD card and replaceable battery

I'm coming from the Galaxy S4. My two year contract on AT&T just happened to be up a few weeks before this phone was released. I haven't been following the mobile phones world very closely, and I was a bit surprised that Samsung was selling phones with no SD card slot and a battery that couldn't be replaced. So of course, I looked elsewhere.

I think the extra gig of ram helps over the G4

It only helps if you're actually using it. Open up a bunch of apps, and then go into settings to see how much you're using. I would bet my life it's not using more than 1.2gb

I opened up at least 25 apps and then checked ram usage. It was only using 1.8gb. So that extra ram probably isn't helping most people except for the world's most demanding users. Just saying......

Mine is using 2.2GB of ram at this moment.
