I am looking to get a new phone from sprint, was thinking about the EPIC touch but was wondering if anyone knows if there is something new and great coming to sprint any time soon?

Thanks

Galaxy Nexus. That is of course if Sprint ever gets their crap together and offers the device. If they continue to delay the Samsung Galaxy S III will be out and then I'll have to make the decision between innovation and performance. At least Google designs for the Nexus line so you can be somewhat assured that Android code is optimized for that particular device. Either way, I'm ready to upgrade!

I'm staying with this phone until a 4g lte phone comes out. mikg ROM and lionsense kernel bring new life to this phone.

I'm hoping for the HTC One X. I'm still gun shy over my Galaxy S (Captivate) experience and would like to stay with HTC. Luckily, I didn't get an HTC last year while they were not focusing on quality, but quantity.

The reviews for the One X look amazing.

I think the One X is worth the wait. After once again spending some time with the Nexus, there are some UI elements that just don't seem as intuitive for heavy business use like the block shading in the email and calendar screens compared to Sense. I want to like ICS, but the HTC keyboard is much better and would be hard to give up.

There was a time I wanted to stay with HTC--so much so that I wouldn't even consider another manufacturer. I am SO delighted I let go of brand loyalty. Holding onto it made me realize that not everything HTC puts out is all that earth shattering. The Evo 3D, IMO felt more like a downgrade from the original Evo.

Since my Evo days, I moved on to Moto then Samsung. Had I stayed with HTC I would have never known how great these other phones were.

From what I'm hearing and Sprint is getting the One X and the Note. Myself though, I have waited for a Nexus for a quite a while I assure you and am not going to miss it again. I say go for the G'Nex if the talk of early April are true, just remember though only you can make that final decision on what phone you get. But heck, you've got a 2 week return window to try out the phone to see if you like it. :)

After checking Samsungs galaxy note at AT&T I will get it if Sprint has their version. The screen is perfect size 5'' for reading and browsing, gaming. The phone is not that large that feels awkward, after messing with it a while I totally enjoyed its quick respnonse time and ease of navigation. I hope sprint doesn't wait to long for a phone like the SG Note.

Sammy radios are notoriously bad. Unless u are ok with weak signal strength for 3G/4G WiFi and GPS then I wouldn't suggest a Samsung anything. The nexus s, galaxy s ii, galaxy nexus all have weeks signal performance compared to HTC devices. The EVO LTE is particularly good for a modern full featured device. The Sammy S3 looks very nice, but I wouldnt bet on Sammy radios being Amy better. I tried and loved the galaxy nexus, bit returned it like a lot of others due to poor radios. Just some advice based on experience with Samsung vs HTC devices. The EVO 4G, EVO Design and EVO LTE have all been great with signals, but the EVO LTE is now so fast and has crazy good battery life.

I am not sure about the Samsung radio issue...most people I know with Sammy phones work just fine.

But I do know the LTE EVO has a battery that can not be removed...not a very good design.

That's why I am thinking about the sIII ... Does the sIII have root capabilities ?
