What phone should I buy in the UK?

Looking to buy a new phone soon,however, I live in UK so I don't really have many options of mid-range phones, was looking at nexus 5x 16gb but no micro sd slot...

So, which phone should I buy? ~£300

And please, 5.2" is the max.

Hello and welcome to the forums!

What about the Moto X Play? The screen is 5.5" but the external dimensions are practically the same than the Nexus 5X.

definitely a great choice but not sure how ergonomic it would be in 1 hand, I just need it for everyday use at Uni, not playing many games, usually just web surfing and using main camera a lot

Don't worry about that It feels great in the hand and much lighter than expected. I use mine one handed without problems. Also you should consider other mid-range phones like the Moto G 2015 or the Alcatel Idol 3 4.7"
