I actually considered the DNA when I didn't get a Nexus 4 in that first mad round of ordering since my wife is on Verizon and it would have been cheap to jump aboard. However, I really wanted a stock Android phone and I dislike what Verizon does to their phones (branding, locking them down, etc.) so I decided to wait and give ordering another shot. Glad I did.

HTC DNA comes unlocked so u would be able to use it with att or T-Mobile but u would've had to pay the hefty out of contract price for it but u wouldve not been able to use it on Verizon

Pretty close to getting the Razr M but would have felt crappy with the Verizon data limits/costs.

I may have got something used - maybe an older Nexus.

The Motorola Razr (the 1st gen GSM android model) or a HTC 8S, the price of the Nexus 4 sealed the deal for me.

I didn't mean the SIM card, I meant the bootloader. Verizon locks their Android phones down hard so it can be a pain to tinker with them. Not impossible, mind you, just far more difficult than it should be. Also, Verizon branding = blech.

Was getting impatient so thought about the Galaxy S3 - but the unlocked International one had only 1 GB of Ram - so decided to wait for the Nexus 4 - I'm glad I did ! The N4 rocks!

There are sooooooooo many choices.

Today it would be the HTC One X+ or the Note II if you like the size. But in a matter of a couple of months I would look at the Samsung Galaxy S4 or the HTC M7.
