I find it slightly odd how some people just ask a question, let us answer it and never bother reading our responses/advice or making an account. Few do that but when it happens it is a bit strange...

Guest posters failing to respond is common and we're currently trying to think of ways of improving the system so that somehow or other they get the help that they're seeking.

In the above case my own guess - and as things are it's often necessary to use guesswork - is that the OP mistook Android Central for some sort of device sale-or-exchange mart.

I find myself being a little rough with some OPs because I'm so frustrated with these vague questions that could be answered by Google, or are so vague that there's simply no way to answer them. I mean seriously how do you answer, my camera stopped working, please help!? Some of my favorites are when they think AC is Google and ask for changes to the OS or ask for a feature to be added or removed. Honestly I don't know what it takes behind the scenes to put on this site but I feel like there should be a way to get anonymous posters to at least provide a minimum amount of information. Perhaps not allowing posts less than 200 characters, or placing ghost text in the entry field that either says "Please provide XYZ when making a post" or "Describe the issue in as much detail as possible, including XYZ", something. I could go on but I'm sure I'm preaching to the choir on this one.

^ Yes, all these problems have been much-discussed behind the scenes by the AC Ambassador and Moderator teams over the last two or three weeks. We are determined to bring about changes that we believe will mend matters, or at least improve them, and our proposals are currently being considered at Admin level.
