I paid $249 also (plus $20 early upgrade fee). Interesting that Verizon seems to have discounted the phone fifty bucks in stores without telling anybody ... all the advertising says $299.

How early can one upgrade and just toss them $20?

$327.45 tax included. Got the phone, screen protectors, extended battery, Incipio case(25% accessories discount). Wife calls it my early, only, Christmas present lol. Used my NE2 + Loyalty discount.

I paid $334 for phone, extended battery, case and screen protectors. Got 20% off accessories since I bought 3 and got $50 off the phone through my work discount.

$695 w/tax -$378 Buy Back for my Thunderbolt (I kept the 32gb micro) and a $50 Gift Card because i had to argue with managers about their price matching policy.

btw. Best Buy price matched verizon's retail price.

When did you buy your Thunderbolt? I'm going to try doing the same thing, and I want to know how much I'll get for it. I got mine a week after it launched.

I get to the Verizon corp store...numbers of people went from 5 at 9:40 to about 40 people at 9:55, 5 minutes before the store opened. There were about 10-15 verizon employees ready to help.

I get someone to help me to start my purchase. Ashley says, "ok...and your total is........sorry the system's taking a while.... Oh!, you just got $100 off. So the phone is going to be $199 plus tax"

My jaw dropped as I had no idea about any such discount/deal. This was while i was hearing other customers next to me getting their $299 prices told to.

ha...its going to be whatever your total is. So if you pay 299 for the phone, the tax will be whatever your tax rate is in your town, multiplied by 299,.

299 x .085 = 24.42
299 + 24.42 = final payment $324.42

I can get it at a local store for $299 but that sucks for me. I can get it at $174 on letstalk.com but won't get it for like 2 weeks. So what's the cheapest I can get it for right now!!??

My loyalty discount isn't available until 1/1/12, and it just so happens the LivingSocial coupon expires on 12-31-11. I may go in the store and try for the $100 4G discount. I'm not gonna pay more than $199.

I am thinking of ordering a new line from Let'sTalk. In the past I have heard horror stories regarding the restrictions that are put it (fine print). Is it true that we cannot switch the device to another line after we get the new line ?

Just for reference, for anyone who would prefer to purchase from Best Buy and is paying retail price, they will price match the Verizon $649.99 retail price. Best Buy's starting retail price is $800.

I did that, with a $300 gift card for my Thunderbolt through the buy-back program. Decided to go for Black Tie and Buy-Back again, so I paid $450 in total, for a retail GN plus the complete insurance and future-proof plan.
