What Replacement Phone Have You Decided On?

Asus UI is horrible. ..at this point we should be choosing phones based on UI....since nougat is the latest and greatest...the only choices are LG V20 or Pixel XL....if you want the most features go with the LG V20.....

830 plus 68 in taxes on att yeah lg v20 aint worth that, ill pay that 500 and delete or disable any bloatware i dont like on it til a note 8 comes out , definitely dont wanna pick a phone and be stuck with it for a yr and something bad az comes out before my yr up i would go crazy lol i must have the lastest phone

Note 4 wIth Marhmallow is about equal to the Note 7 for battery life. Note 4 has better LTE and WiFi reception, so I guess balances out. My guess is the Note 7 would be better in strong signal areas.

My favorable experience with my Note 4 with Marshmallow and removable battery has me not wanting a sealed battery anymore (Note 7 scarred me). Hopefully good non sealed options remains in the future.

I want to see someone open up several games and if they can go back though them with no reloads then I'll be impressed.
Yeah people see 6 gigs of ram and think the ram management will automatically be great....Also assume a 23megapixel camera will take better pictures .....

You can't chase technology like that. There will always be something better coming out.

Ordered the Pixel XL. I have had Samsung phones for a long time, this is going to be interesting. I'm sure I'll be back to the Note next year whenever it comes out.

Me also. I am quite used to , and fond of, the Samsung ecosystem and Touchwiz. It will be interesting for me too ..

I'm considering either the V20 or Pixel xl. Switching to a loaned iPhone tomorrow so I have a phone but will want off of that ASAP. Really thinking of just getting the Pixel and keeping it until the V20 come out and switch to that and then decide which one I prefer.

Why not take advantage of the 14 day return policy?! And another Samsung phone is not an option thanks this this fiasco and they're lack of caring about keeping customers.

I have att so the pixel is out for me, but I'm excited for the v20. I had a v10 and loved it

Is it? Can you actually utilize all 6gb of Ram on Android device ?
Can you actually utilize 450+ horsepower in that exotic? ...but many want them anyways.. My thought on the 6GB of RAM is that management of it will be less necessary for folks that like to leave everything open. I remember when flagships phones had 2GB of RAM and people scoffed at the very idea of a phone with 4GB of RAM. Wasn't so long ago.

I'm starting to wonder if I can beat my note 3. I have the wireless charging back. It lags but not much worse than my Note 7 did. The camera sucks but I don't use it much. If the V20 were only a little smaller or the s7 a little bigger. I'm Clumsy so the s7e would certainly break in my care. Only the $100 credit to my vzw account makes it attractive. I'm afraid it wouldn't last a week before I broke it. Lots of reports of short drops resulting in broken screens.

You might be able to reduce some of the lag with slight tuning and disabling some of what a lot of people call "bloat". However, one girl's bloat is another's manna.

I've tried disabling lots of thing but no discernable effect. Scrolling is lousy but it was in note 7 too. Maybe I have too many apps. I could really use 6gb of ram. I use my ir blaster daily though so I hate to lose it and my gear 2 won't work with Pixel or V20

I have the S7E but strongly considering the v20. It's an okay phone, I'm just not thrilled with it. Mine has some backlight bleeding across the bottom.

The v20 just looks nice. I almost went with the v10 and this is an upgrade to that. Just concerned about battery life though.
