So I been on echo rom for few months still seems like it's been a decent rom but it's getting slow and Laggy for me

My phone is g900a locked bootloader a s yes it's already rooted but is there a better rom our there?

5.0.2 is what its showing me. Also battery goes quick, it lags and geta pretty hot now too... any ideas of a better custom rom would be?

I've use Cyanogen in the past and was very pleased by its overall performance and cool skins. But on my old S2, it disabled the PRL Update tool. Also, it randomly lost all internet connectivity, and I had to go back to stock to fix that. I'm not sure that it actually was CM that was at fault, but after a day or two of trying I was unable to find the fix for it.

FTR, that was an older version of Cyanogen.
