What should I do if my phone may have a virus?

Hey,

I have an s7 for about 3 weeks and i am getting pop ups when using the crome and internet browers. It vibrates my phone and i cant get out of it unless i close the app; the back button wont work. I had it on my old s5 as well, but just thought the phone was old so didnt worry too much, now its haopening again! Please help! What is it and how do i get rid of it?

Also, my predictive text has gone and i cant seem to find out why, any ideas?

Hi

Be a great idea to download and run a program called Malwarebyte, in the Play Store. Before that though, try this:

GOTO: Settings> Device> Applications> Application Manager> Scroll over to ALL> Scroll down to Chrome Browser> Clear Data.Cache & Defaults. Do this with both Chrome and Internet....under "ALL".

Now reboot phone into RECOVERY Mode, and wipe Cache Partition, no data loss. See if problem still exists. If so, run Malwarebytes and see if that finds a hit. If the problem still happens after running malwarebytes, then I would suggest a full factory reset.
