Nokia E65 > Curve 8320 > Storm 9550 > Motorola Droid (well, should be arriving tomorrow - still have the S2 right now).

Damn I'm going to be glad to be rid off the Storm 2. Makes me kinda sad, as I loved my Curve, but I think RIM made big mistakes with its touchscreens. I went through five handsets with the click screen causing problems. VZW kindly agreed to swap me for a Droid four months into my contract. It's a 'like new' refurb, but includes all the accessories. I can't wait to get it.

Hello Android Central, BTW!

for those of you coming from the iphone, what do you think about the switch? loving it or wishing you could go back?

Iphone, iphone 3g, tour, storm 2, droid. I'm super happy with my droid and will take verizons service anyday over at&t.

Well I haven't yet, since my contract is up on March 27th. But its lookin most likely like I will be transitioning from the LG Voyager, to the Samsung Moment.

Quick side comment. How the hell do you all switch devices so often? Aren't you locked into contracts and such when you buy a device? I see so many have switched from like Pre's or recent Blackberrry's that I thought would be too new to switch, as you would all still be under contract. You all aren't buying all your phones full retail are you? Is there a trick I am missing to getting phone upgrades more often and still getting discounts?

TI left my 9700 Blackberry Bold. and before then I jas an iPhone. I think that my Hero is a gteat mixture of the two devices. I like just about everything about my Hero plus I left ATT for Srint because Sprint has better plans. It was a win all the around because it is everything I wanted in a touchscreen device.

I pay full price for my devices and keep them in pristine condition. When a new one comes out, I sell the old one on eBay. I will never break even, but if I average out what I'm losing, on a per month basis, it's probably equal to 2 to 3 movies I give up at the theater. New phones with the latest technology, is my hobby and form of entertainment, so it's worth the cost to me. I also know there are other ways of working the system for discounts, but I'm too lazy to do so.

MotoQ > Blackberry curve 8330 > Incredible

I no longer have the Moto Q ,still have the 8330 (OS 5.0), and of course The Incredible .:D

iPhone 3G > Blackberry Pearl (ugh) > Incredible

I reluctantly gave up my iPhone when I left Japan - missed it terribly while I was stuck with the BB, but now that I've tasted Android I'll never go back.
