What sort of battery life are you getting off your Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1?

I've had my Note for a couple of weeks now, and am very happy with the features. The battery life has been disappointing, however. I typically have my screen below 50% brightness, and operate with wifi only on when the screen is on. I'm seeing battery consumption rates of 10% in slightly less than an hour doing things like web browsing, or taking notes using Lecture Notes. This will typically get me through a day, but not by much. After reading reviews of "fantastic battery life", I'm finding it's not much better than my Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 in practical use. Is this typical? Most review sites show about 9.5 hours for running a movie without wifi, so I suppose I'm in the "normal" range, but I was expecting more if not running full screen video. The battery detail shows the screen using most of my power (75%+), so there's not much else I can turn off.

I cant talk 4 others but I get round about 12 hours that includes play a film or two plus wifi on n gps
But thats jus me

My battery history right now shows 12h 47m on battery, with wifi on the entire time, screen on about 35% (using S Note and the camera mostly). I still show 54% charge.

I've traveled with it, watching movies on full screen brightness, for several hours on a plane and that activity uses about 50% of the battery.

Try an app called easy battery saver from the play store. It does a decent job of managing battery for longer use. No glitches with it on the note 10.1.
