I am glad to report I am getting the same speeds as I do on my S6 when in that same location.. Basically what I expect I get.

How about you guys? Seeing similar results in similar locations compared to your other phones?

My speeds are approximately the same as my m8 , 25 - 40 mbps depending on the time of day and location

Can't do a 4g ookla as that would eat up my puny data plan but my WiFi speeds are the same as other devices

Mine are the same as my Note 3.

Btw, anyone on T-Mobile - they don't count the Speedtest app against your data.

Nice! This is good to know since I've been speed testing like a mad man, lol!

So is it safe to say that the network icon doesn't really reflect the actual connection? When it says "4G", i'm usually getting LTE level speed. I've only seen H+ a couple times, but get some pretty decent Mbps download.

LTE is 4G.

As you can see, my Verizon speeds on my Note, which are not fabulous, are much better than T-Mobile on the Zenfone. Not sure yet why I am not getting 4g on the T Mobile sim. My apn settings are correct. During this test it was probably H+.

If I may ask, where do you live? I'm in NYC and TMobile data speeds I've been getting have been mopping the floor with my Sprint G3 data speeds. I suppose TMobiles service varies in different areas. Def go to your TMO store and find out why you're not getting faster rates. Hope you can get the same speeds I'm getting!
