I had caught part of the radio news this morning relating to someone passing connected to 'The Good, The Bad and the Ugly', then it slipped my mind.
I have just checked the BBC news feed, entertainment section, 10 hours later. I am not on any other social media.

I had spent a long day driving Eli Wallach, his lovely wife, and 1 other around London sometime between 96 - 98.

I remember The Good the Bad and the Ugly showing in our one big city centre cinéma in Ireland when I was around 10 or 11. I wanted badly then to see an 18+ film for the first time.

He sat next to me and answered with gusto and quiet charm my brief questions. He was doing more stage work because he loved it and saw no reason to retire. He was still working in recent years. I remember a lot of the great movie parts he played as an older man. (He was a much bigger guy in the spaghetti's.)

What a wonderful, nice, conversational, unassuming, terrific guy he was. I'm sure those around him knew they were privileged.

People you grew up admiring, their passing often reported with a whimper in the UK.

Though I am sure he will be widely saluted, mourned and missed by all who knew him.

He was 98, but - sometimes, just occasionally, news like this hits you in the kisser.

Ann B. Davis.
I see it on IMDB. I do remember her, though I was young and haven't seen repeats.
A great life. Very sad she slipped and fell while in good health aged 88. June 1st. Close friends with Florence Henderson. Definitely a star, and has one on Hollywood Boulevard. Thanks.

I want the moto 360 but I might go with the gear live. I'll wait a few weeks to see if a date firms up on the 360.
