What to do first?

So I am on my second go around with the sgs3. The first one was an investment so I didn't want to do anything to it.

This one is a keeper so where to start? I am a flashaholic so unlocking, rooting and roming is a given.

First question is, I have the phone now but not the back. That means I cannot activate it so the question is can I root it tonight without having to worry about a brick when activating?

What are the 'must check out' ROM's?

Is there a tips and tricks section around here?

What is the coolest thing you've found?

I am sure I have more questions but I will start there....

how does the back prevent activation, how hot is it....

I was just being my usual, with a bit of reZound still in my system. I thought that I could not get it activated because it was ot getting a signal because the antennas were in the back a la ReZound.

Not the case, I couldnt get it to activate for some reason, but that wasnt it.

I love usb otg capability on the GSIII, you can easily plug in keyboard, mouse, usb drives, even other phones. Get a micro sim adapter, and you can switch between the GSIII and the rezound.
