What to Do?

I'm at a bit of a Crossroads here. Which is better having the 2.1update1 on my Droid or should I try and flash it back to Stock 2.0 and then Root it? I'm not sure what I should do...I don't want to kill my phone...Can anyone help me in this quest to make my phone so much sweeter? Everyone's thoughts and Opinons are welcome!!!! Thank you in Advance!!!!

Well.......Most that have rooted will find 2.1 update booring. Its booring, but it's safe.

If you root, you take the chance of bricking your droid. I'm sure if you follow instructions well you will be okay, but always remember that there is a small chance of bricking.
