What type of Verizon case is everyone going to use?

I purchased the silicone case today. My X doesn't arrive until Monday, so I'll update after I've used it for further remarks.

I like the silicone case but I hate the way it covers the buttons. It makes them virtually invisible and blocks the light. I will trim it away with a razor and see if that helps.

Personally I went with the hip holster and anti glare protectors. Very impressed with the holster - it has a professional look to it, and it allows good protection while still allowing docking. The screen protectors I am not so impressed with, as they are not fitted for the entire screen but just where the business is.

Same here, the holster is perfect if you use docks and/or just don't like ugly/bulky/silicony cases. The verizon one available at launch is top-quality.

2 things though:
1) it's not quite tight enough... leather relaxes over time and while the magnetic snap means there's NO chance it could ever fall out, when you are removing it single-handed i like there to be a bit more friction so it doesn't "pop" out.
2) the elastic-leather blocks the earphone jack. actually, it just barely covers the jack so if you push you can get your earphones in... but still seems like a design flaw.

I have the bodyglove snap on, I had it on my blackberry and loved it. I makes the phone easier for me to hold and is is non skid.

I just picked up the Leather snap-on with the kickstand from the Verizon store; they are currently out of stock online. I like the feel and functionality.

I ordered the Shell/Holster Combo at the same time I ordered the phone online to take advantage of my 25% discount. I have been very pleased with it so far. I've been carrying the cased phone in my pocket the last couple of days, and it seems to fit better than my cased enV touch did. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to pocket carry it, but the reduced thickness must make the difference.

guys dont overlook ebay. i got a rubber case that also protects the buttons as well for less then half of what vz sells for it was like 6 bucks. just to hold me over till otterbox comes out with theirs. oh and a bundle that came which chargers car dock screen protectors for 17 bucks. i couldnt get a car charger alone for les then 20 lol. i know its not the best quality and made in taiwan but im not paying almost 200 in accessories lol not me.

I picked up the leather hip holster. The look is very nice. The mag did not set off the car dock or anything that I could tell. Paid $20 after discount at verizon. I too got the anti glare protectors and took it off the next day in place of a clear plastic sheet I had around the house and cut to size. Much better now.

Has anyone else bought the Verizon leather holster? I just got mine in the mail today and it seems very well put together and real nice but no matter which way I put it in the holster, it doesn't sleep. Does this holster have a sleep magnet in it? Anyone else notice this?

I picked up the verizon holster and while the quality is top-notch and i like the swivel belt clip, i wish it hugged the phone better. The holster width is set for the camera bump, so when the the phone is cased there's alot of dead air... couldn't they make it so it followed the contours of the phone better? IMO, it's too loose... but i'm no leather-worker so maybe that's the best they can do.

Also, the case "almost" covers up the headphone jack... fail.

Does anyone know of any cases that actually cover the buttons? im looking for a smooth case like the argyle one posted but i feel like the unprotected buttons are kinda half a$$ed. Just my ocd tho. Any suggestions?

the vzw silicone cases cover all buttons. i returned mine, as you couldn't see the backlight on the hard buttons.

I agree on the holster. Never even considered a leather holster, but it allows you to still dock the phone. It is really good quality
