I've always used a wallet/portfolio style case for my phones and I think that's been why I've never broken a screen. I've been informed that you can actually do wireless charging with a case on as long as it doesn't have metal in the case.
- the cases I've always use for my non wireless charging phone has had a magnetic latch. I assume I won't be able to use a phone with the magnetic latch.
- the thickness of the case means the phone is going to be a bit further away from the inductive charger. How much will that effect the charging ability. I've read the 1/4" would not be much.
also what other disadvantages are there with wireless charging?
What wallet/portfolio style case would be recommended for a pixel 3 XL?
