What was your last phone?
What do you like most with your GS3 over you old phone?
And what do you miss about your last phone.?

My last phone was the Lg optimus s.
The thing i like most about the Gs3 is the size. the optimus had a 3.2" screen. now i hold my optimus and wonder how i even used it with that small of a screen lol.

And the main thing i miss with the optimus is how easy it is to flash new roms.

Torch 9810 and Bold 9900. GS3 is daily driver while 9900 is for work.

I had a Nexus S before... and really there's NOTHING I miss about it. I used it a couple days ago to try and take off some old information... and I couldn't believe how archaic it felt.

Even just looking at the homescreen felt bad... you could really notice the lower resolution. Even tho I didn't notice the green tint when I used the Nexus S... after using the SGS3... the green tint on the Nexus S phone is really apparent. The camera on the Nexus S sucks by comparison. Also generally the phone just doesn't have enough horsepower... the interface is laggy in comparison to the SGS3... and in the Nexus S I find a delay in when you load screens, etc.

I'm really happy with my Samsung Galaxy SIII and as I said... there's absolutely nothing I regret about the switch.

Galaxy Note. I still have and love it! Use it with my Verizon jetpack hotspot on wifi when I travel for browsing and email etc.

I had a blackberry storm lent to me when my pearl flip died. Only thing I miss are the notification options in blackberry and how easy they were to setup and view holding down the volume rocker would skip the song. I miss nothing else.the s3 is years ahead of devices.

~iPhone 4s was my last phone...
~I'm not new to android though...
~I love everything about the GS3...especially the size. I went from the EVO'S , to the GS2 With the large display to the iPhone small display...(Why in the world did i do that)
~Don't really miss anything about the iPhone...if I had to pick something, it would be the ability to sync my safari browsers!
;)

My last phone was t-mobile HTC G2 which was a pretty awesome phone. I only got rid of it because my contract expired and it is time for an upgrade.

The screen on the S3 is a great size and also looks awesome which is what I'm happiest about with my upgrade. Even with the large screen the phone isn't bulky because it is thin and lightweight.

I also switched from t-mobile to AT&T as part of a shared plan so it will be interesting to see how the services really compare.

HTC Evo 3D and an HOX!

My Evo? Nothing!

HOX? The screen! :(

Otherwise I love my S3!

9900 was my last device.

Screen size and speed brought me over. I have used other various Android devices, but was never impressed with any of them like I am with the G3. Excellent battery life doesn't hurt either.

I think you can sync if you use Chrome as your browser...

I came from the HP Veer, and prior to that the Palm Pre+. What I miss most is the inductive charging. I’m still not sure about taking the plunge with my S3 and modifying it to work… but I do have a ton of TouchStone’s that can be utilized.
I don’t miss the crappy Facebook app webOS had. Also, I defiantly don’t miss the lag in the Veer. It was so bad I would restart it multiple times per day.
Overall, I’m still adjusting to Android over webOS, but I miss webOS’ intuitiveness. There is something about a gesture area. I’m accepting the virtual keyboard, but only because of Swype. The physical keyboard was a stickler for me, but I’ve adjusted better than I expected.

chrome and Firefox both sync your browsers, and there may be others.

Palm Pre.

I've actually adjusted pretty well. Perfect phone for converting to android. But I miss a lot of things from my Palm Pre...

-Hard keyboard (although Swype is doing wonders)
-Notifications
-Gestures
-Multitasking
-Natural wave launcher (I know about the app on android)
-Home brew community (yes the android community is just as good except you actually have to be smart. Lol. Home brew was easy on the Pre. Root seems complex and scary. Haha)

None of these things are big game changers because they are basically the same on android just done slightly different. So with that being said. I love my s3 and everything about it although I will always be a Web OS-er for life :p

Samsung Captivate (Galaxy S)

GS3 is better in every respect except one thing...

The Captivate didn't have any interference noise during playback when (1) plugged into the car charger and (2) playing media through the AUX port of my car stereo. The SGS III gets interference from the car charging cable. It only happens when no audio is playing (like when I'm searching for something or the quick gap between podcasts. It's not hampering the audio when playing, but it's still annoying.

infuse.... last couple of phones have been Samsung and I love them.... this phone acts so much better than my infuse almost the same size too.... screen is bigger but it could have been bigger on infuse if there wasn't so much black area....

My last phone is the GS2. What i like most about the GS3 is the performance. Its performance is much better than the GS2.

Epic G4
I kind of miss the physical keyboard, but don't miss the bulk.

Love the S3 screen and how thin the phone is, and it kicks butt!
