As the title said , what were you using before the P10 and why did you switch to it? Are you happy with the P10?

For me I've been using the LG G6, for about 3 months but although a very solid phone, not in love with it. It has slowdown, and noticed more now than day one.

Also the camera, although the wide angle lense is nice, the overall pics I wish were better.

What's attracting me to the P10 is the huge storage with micro SD card option, (128gb internal is what I'd choose) vs the LG G6 TINY 32gb storage, and I've heard great things about the P10 camera. Also the 6gb ram is amazing

So want to hear from current owners? Is it a go for the P10? Also can get it for around $600-620 new from Amazon and eBay, are these about right prices?

Only had my P10 for just over a week now and love it so far. I had the Galaxy s8 before it and the LG G6 before that. I usually switch phones every 2-3 months just because I like trying different things and I hadn't tried any of the Huawei or Xiaomi phones so far. The only thing I'm really missing is Always On Display as I've had that on about 10 of my last 12 phones. I really like the size of the P10 but if I had the chance again I'd probably have chose the P10 Plus purely for the extra battery and the slightly improved camera.

For me, I had the BlackBerry Dtek 50 before the P10 Plus. My daughter was watching videos on the 50 in the backyard and dropped it on the patio stones. The screen cracked and has become almost entirely unresponsive. It was going to cost me $100 to fix the screen so I decided to upgrade instead. I was going to upgrade in November when the contract was up regardless so I just upgraded early.

I had been researching my next phone for a few months. It had previously been a no-brainer as I've been using a BlackBerry since 2007 but haven't been too impressed with their Android offerings. So I started looking at what else was available and the Huawei P10 and P10 Plus caught my eye. The camera's had been receiving glowing reviews from the tech blogs that I follow. With my daughter being under 2 years old, I wanted a phone with a good camera to capture the memories. The P10 Plus has been more than excellent at that so far with everyone that sees the photos saying how amazing they are, the colour representation especially makes every awe. I would definitely purchase this phone again if I had and have zero issues recommending it to family and friends.

You sound like me. I switch phones too often. Currently going between my old iPhone 6 Plus and LG g6

Curious why did you leave the Samsung S8? Anything that stood out as a negative. Thought of getting the S8+ over a Note 8 to save a few $

No no real negatives to be fair. My s8 and s8 Plus were great devices all round but the camera bored me tbh. For me it was just 'OK' much like how I felt when I had the S7 edge last year. The Note 8 has the same camera sensor as the s8 but the dual cameras definitely interest me and I wish I'd held off for that instead of the s8's purely for that reason. I'll probably pass on that though as I have the Mate 10 firmly in my sights. I usually buy an iPhone each year too (had the 7 Plus twice last year) and have done since the iPhone 3G but I'll probably skip it this time around as nice as it looks in the leaks

Similar to dov1978 i swap phones quite regular (not boasting just sayin!), this year I've had the G6, Keyone, S8 and currently P10. I've had the P8,P9 and Nova before and it seems that the Huawei design language just speaks to me. Suits my overall needs and taste. Only complaint is that the updates seem dreadfully slow on this P10. G6 seemed to big, Keyone was fun but keyboard is a novelty, S8... Fingerprint position and that ******* bixby button.

Samsung Galaxy S8.

I loved the S8 but it was too tall.
I switched to the P10 because I wanted a smaller current Android phone(i.e. as close to the iPhone 6s size I can find) with flagship specs.

The battery life on the P10 is better than the battery life on my Samsung Galaxy S8.
I heard the Kirin processor was more battery efficient than the Qualcomm processors. So I wanted to check it out for myself.
So far so good.

Thanks for the replies. I am going with the Samsung S8+ from the LG G6. Hope I like the S8+
