Call me a glutton for punishment. I wanted to be sure so I did it again. I factory wiped my phone twice, don't know if the second wipe was necessary but when it came back up with a lot of missing BLUR I wanted to make sure. Missing BLUR was still missing in 2.2 after the second wipe, not really missing just not so scattered around the screen like 2.1 which really reinforces my belief that this is not the final build or that Moto wants to tone it down a few notches. Anyway flashed the 2.1 sbf and factory wiped again. So I am back to the DX I bought last month. Very fast, running perfect with the known 2.1 glitches. My AAC albums work again, etc. Next I perform the update to 2.2 and this time things are better. Music no longer cuts out, gap between songs is about the same as 2.1, possibly better but really wish it were gapless like may old iPod. Amazinly AAC albums play in order now, but album art is still missing in action. (still preparing my new MP3 library just in case)
Now for the punishment. Complete freeze during a speaker phone call shortly after pressing mute to block some background noise. Time to unmute and found the ui and all buttons locked tight. Had to listen to my party on the phone wondering where I went while doing another R&R on the battery.
So, back to 2.1 I go. Fun times...
