What will the Thunderbolt be unable to do?

I'm really hoping the the 2nd Gen snapdragon, which uses the more efficient 45nm core, will help with battery life. It kind of scares me that the Bolt has a larger screen than the Fascinate, plus the 4G radio, but it has a smaller battery (1400mAh vs. 1500 on the Fascinate). And the Fascinate's battery life already isn't exactly impressive, IMO.

You are all forgetting that the TB is being released with the latest flux capcitor. Since this phone has a unibody aluminum frame it provides the perfect flux dispersal. HTC has hit it out of the park and is really getting back to the future on this phone.

It's all about optimization, really. Is SLCD more energy efficient than AMOLED? Is the 2nd gen SDP really that much more energy efficient?

I'm sure like most smartphones with this kind of power, it'll make it a work day without charging but you'll have to plug it in when you get home.

I don't think there has been an actual listing of estimated battery life yet. Although I usually don't pay much attention to them, because they only test stand-by and talk time.

Ive seen the specs listed in one shot but I dont remember which one. Thinks is said 6+ hours of talk time. Dont remember the standby.

I honestly am not looking forward to the dual core phones simply because the phones we have now can barely last 6 hours without dying and a 2nd core is only going to put more stress on the battery.

Dual core phones really won't work like you expect them to, drumzalicious. AFAIK, The 2nd core shuts off when not in use. Since the dual core phones will be built off of the newer, more efficient processes, they will get better battery life.
