What's an acceptable signal strength on the Droid?

I have a fluctuating signal between -86 dBm to -100 dBm and 0 asu. Anybody know if this is good or merely OK?

The higher the number the better. Remember it is a negative value. So, for example, -40 is better than -100.

Oh, that is sucky. I just got a new phone and its worse here. Perhaps Verizon just doesn't cover me that well.

In my experience, anything higher than -80dbm is good. If it's from -85dbm to -100dbm, that's considered risky and calls could drop and data speeds will be slower.

I was blown away when I switched from Sprint to Verizon. On Sprint with the BB Curve, the highest I got was -80dbm. Now with VZW I get anywhere from -80dbm up to -60dbm which I consider awesome!
