Google Home Widget Toggle: Lit When Off, Dim When On – How to Fix?

I'm using the Google Home widget on Android to control my fan, but I've noticed an issue with the toggle indicator. When the fan is off, the toggle appears lit, and when the fan is on, the toggle appears dim. This seems backward to me. Is there a way to adjust this behavior so that the toggle correctly reflects the fan's state? Has anyone else experienced this issue, or is it a known bug? Any insights or fixes would be appreciated!"

Welcome to Android Central! Just to clarify -- are you talking about the homescreen widget or the Quick Settings button? I'm assuming you mean the former.

That does seem pretty counter-intuitive. I would send feedback to Google from within the Google Home app's settings.

I think it's right, when the fan is not in use it's lit to show you to tap if u want it on and when its on it goes dim to show it's in use so not tap unless you want off

The inconsistency, though is that the smart bulb is on and the toggle is lit. If it were to follow the same logic as the fan. It would be dim when the light is on.🤔
