Whats app and Internal storage and SD card

I was just checking my storage and found out that my Whats apps videos are going on Internal Storage instead of the SD card, How do I make my whats apps videos go to the SD card? I tried taking pictures and videos on the phone and those went to the SD card but the ones from whats apps goes to internal storage.


When I look in my Storage this is how it shows: Does this mean that my Whats apps are going to the internal storage? I am not sure.

Images 3.27 MB (I tried moving this to the SD card but it does not give the option to it to the SD card.)

Audio 0.98 MB (I tried moving this to the SD card but it does not give the option to it to the SD card.)

Videos 43.24 (these videos are from Whats app) (I tried moving this to the SD card but it does not give the option to it to the SD card.)

Applications 1.80 GB

SD card

SD Card 236MB/ 119.2 GB

if you enable developer options you can allow apps to use external storage. only change that and then exit out. then when you go to the apps you'll find a place under storage to change it. might need a reboot after setting it in dev options, not sure.

I doubt u can make what's app data safe to sd card

If nothing else you can use Google's File Go to move the files to the SD card

That only allows you to move apps to the SD card regardless of whether the app supports it or not.

I deleted the app and reinstalled and I don't see an option to use the SD card.

I don't think this is possible. every now and again I go through and transfer the videos to SD card manually. WhatsApp and Snapchat are the 2 big culprits for me
