What's app widgets has error loading... Cnt preview messages

Not refreshing.. Just a blank black screen

Try this: open Settings->Apps, then scroll down to WhatsApp. Tap "Force Stop," then tap Storage->Clear Cache. Go back to the home screen and try the widget again. Does it work now?

Also, make sure you've updated WhatsApp from the Google Play Store. There could be a bug in the software that affects the homescreen widget.
