Microsoft is easier to use for me. I also see a future possibly where I might use a Windows Phone. I also prefer cross platform services, Google services is not the most cross platform. Outlook and OneDrive can be accessed on any platform.

Yeah. I kinda feel the same way about windows phone . I feel like most of the issues with the OS itself have been resolved for the most part by recent updates or when 8.1 hits, but I still think the app gap is a issue and deal breaker for me. Hoping it's fixed someday.
Its mainly for me, that the OS still does not have a file manager or has a notification center. Apps can't talk to each other either so that's a deal breaker for me.

Isn't the 8.1 update going to add a notification center?
Android-everything for mobile. Preferrably Nexus. I have an ASUS Transformer for a tablet, but I wish I had gotten a Nexus...even a Nexus 2012.I'm curious if any users here use any other devices that are not android. Like, do you use android for your phone , or a iPad for your tablet? Or maybe vice versa? What about windows devices? A PC? Mac?
Supposedly. But they still need a file manager.
We'll, right now I'm in this weird three way internal struggle between sticking with iOS , going to android, or going to windows phone. I see things I really like in all three.
I might just be getting bored with iOS.
For me I like BB10s hub, and multitasking, but hate that I have to do workarounds for the apps I use the most and they have little ecosystem to work with. For windows phone, they have the apps I use but they lack the basic features like a file manager that I want. The best thing to do for me right now is to enjoy my Moto X now and see what`s out in the Fall/Winter and then see if there is a device that peaks my interest.
We'll, I just have a lot of confusion of which I like more and anxiety or trying something new like windows phone.
My anxiety with windows phone comes from a few different things, most if which might be petty or wrong.
The fact that windows phone isn't very popular, has a the least amount of market share , and is honestly the raw end of many jokes makes me nervous of investing my time, money, and energy with them. Because what if they just close shop one day in windows phone development? What if the apps never gets updated and supported? What if devs just up and leave the platform. The thing is, it seems like all these things might be happening!
It's a perception thing too. Perhaps my opinion has been clouded by others, but it's not like Microsoft is a "cool" company. It's a company has a lot if stigma.
It just makes me think if I got a windows phone I'd be making a mistake. Any of this make sense ?
