What's it worth?

I bought it used for 160 refurbished and with a charger so yeah you could easily get 200 for it check the going price on eBay that what I normally do

Thanks, I might possibly be buying it. I accidentally dropped my turbo 2 in the water at the boat ramp. So mad at myself no insurance still owe a balance on it. So I'm just looking for a just to get by phone without spending too much money. I know it's an older phone but is it decent.

Again - it depends on what version you are buying. Make sure that it is compatible with your carrier and not locked to another one. Also - if you are in the USA, make sure that this phone is not an import from somewhere else in the world where the bands may not work where you are. It would help to know what version you are looking at buying, what carrier it WAS one, and what carrier YOU are on.

If the phone is good, and was on the same carrier as you are - and it hasn't been blacklisted - then yes. I would pay $200 for a GS5 in excellent condition. Otherwise, there are other "better" phones for the same reasonable amount that are brand new in box that can be had.

It's a Verizon model. I was looking to buy a used turbo 2 off eBay but, reason I'm leaning towards the s5 is the battery. It can be replaced. A lot of the newer non removable battery phones has me worried on buying used how it was cared for and charged.

The carrier branded minority CDMA variant for Verizon is not much use to anyone outside of the U.S.A. as it will not work on most 4G/LTE networks worldwide. Also, it cannot have any of the unbranded international, GSM, firmwares flashed to it. However, as can3gxw mentioned, for anyone on the Verizon network in the U.S.A. it is a good buy at US$200, £152, €179.
