Hi guys,
I'm a business analyst and have recently made the switch over to Google for pretty much everything. I've previously owned and worked with Chromebooks and want a laptop to run Chome OS only at breaknet speed!
Originally I was going to go for a Chome book Pixel (new one out in a week), but I was thinking if it was better to build something myself and load Chrome OS on it only (use remote access when I need the odd Windows app).
So what build would match that of a new pixel or is it really optimised for Chome OS (just seem very doubtful of this)?
Thinking about a similar spec I.e. i7 with 16gb ram and 256gb top end ssd. What else should I consider to get the most out of Chome OS? And when do the returns vs £ start becoming a waste?
