What's the best blurless rom for 2.2.1?

Good 2.3.40 ROM with no Blur?

I'm looking for a good, fast, clean 2.3.40 based ROM with no Blur at all. I'm currently running Apex 1.3 and like it except for the Blur elements it has.

Any suggestions?

What blur in apex you don't like. Most is pulled and can pull more with terminal and swap.

Where are you finding roms for 2.3.340 build, I haven't even had any luck finding a Deodexed process or a way to get my black status bar back, 928 Droid Black Glass X crashes on boot up.

I've been enjoying Darkslide. The new V4 is just what I want. It's based on 2.3.340, it has black themed keyboards, a translucent notification screen, stock unlock sliders, is blazing fast, and just a hint of blur. I think a few items, like the camera, are worth keeping minimal blur.

That one does look nice but does is have the triangle in the background on the keyboard and everything else?

Id really just like a plain android like the nexus

I had the same issue with black glass. I hadn't deodexed before so I ran black glass. I already had apex 1.3 on my sd card so I just booted in recovery and installed apex from the sd manually. Took a bit to load the first time but worked great.

I'm running Tranq 3.6 and loving it. blazing fast and simple to change system transitions, custom fonts, and boot logos/animations. Plus you dont have to wipe data or anything. =)

No doubt, DarkSlide gets my vote. The latest version is 4.0 with 2.3.340 base.
Head on over to MyDroidWorld and check it out. Reports of Quarant scores in the 16s, 17, and 18s. Doesn't seem to matter if you get the Blurred or Blurless, it's fast and snappy. Everything works and it's supported very well by BBCrackman and Gatesjr. Those two know what they're doing and the ROM is solid.

My latest Quadrant score was 1688 using the Blur version. Oh, and it makes a really good cup of coffee also.

V4 doesn't have the keyboard background. Only the notification pane does. They have a patch for people who want the keyboard background. The Swype keyboard on V4 is sick.
