What's The Best Thin/Mimimalist Case For Note8?

with the Neo Hybrid can you use just the soft flexible inner without the bumper?
I'll know on Monday anyway but just curious

Yes, you can. However, you wouldn't have much corner protection and you would miss the better grip you will have on the edges with the bumper on.

Spigen makes a one piece Crystal case that has reenforced corners, but the whole case being made of the same material, is a bit slippery, even on the sides.

I guess you could but as Baby-Doc said, it would be slippery-er and much less protective. Why would you not want to use the bumper? It's very unobtrusive.

I have 4 cases total, but the black VRS design below is the thinnest and actually looks and feels almost like a skin.
Bad thing is, I don't think it'll protect the phone as good as a thicker case.
In any case, I like this case a lot and use it almost daily, specially at home.

got the spigen neo hybrid today, it does add a little more bulk than the kk-tick I was using but the clear back is much clearer and the gun metal grey bumper looks really well with the maple gold

I'm using the d brand red dragon skin and luphiu aluminum bumper case.
Super minimal, looks great, but front and rear protection is weak, better than no case though
