What's the best way to connect wireless to a projector with the Samsung Tab A SM-P550?

I want to connect to an HDMI projector with a wireless connection to my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 or the Galaxy Tab A with S pen SM-P550.
The Samsung dongle (which worked for three years) no longer works with the Galaxy Note 10.1 (thanks recent update) and the Galaxy Tab A has no Allshare Cast feature. I can connect via Chromecast, but you need an internet connection. I travel and do presentation all over the country...wifi isn't always available. Looking for something simple...unfortunately Dongle will not work with either device and not sure if they will make an update to correct this feature, but doubt it.

HDMI wireless? That sounds like a dongle, which must have internet. There's no wireless, no-internet way I know of yet.
