What's the big deal with Chrome?

I don't understand why people use this browser. I tried it for a good month and went back to Dolphin. With Chrome, bookmarks are two taps (and a page load) away versus one tap/swipe for Dolphin, and Chrome webpage layout zoomed in looks very mediocre compared to just about any other browser I've seen. Am I missing something?

I am kinda wondering the same thing... Other than the push to/from desktop thing that I have never used, Maxthon is 10x the browser that Chrome is in almost every aspect plus it is less than half the size.

Agreed that Chrome isn't quite perfect, but no browser is yet.

I still use Firefox as default. Flash support + these extensions - Adblock Plus & Phony - make it numero uno for me. And, Mozilla devs are getting close to syncing mobile tabs to the PC browser (broken feature).

Chrome & the default Android browser do still come in really useful when asking Google for game scores and schedules. Those browsers display the results immediately rather than having to click on a link to get the answer. Nice enough to hold me until we get some Jelly Bean ROM luv.
