I was up to the screen to unlock my bootloader. I just couldn't go though with it. I really don't have a good reason other than I like the way it is.

Do it, I just rooted mine yesterday. Then I put ics, and it is awesome.

I would be willing to bet that if you ran ICS for a week, you know, really played with it and set it up to your liking........ your interests would change. Maybe not, but I really think so.

Many of the ICS ROM's are more stable and problem free than any of the gingerbread roms and the stock gingerbread ROM.

You know I don't even know what effect running a custom kernel is really going to have on stock OS. So much of what is built into kernels these days is also dependent on common features built into today's custom ROMs

I don't run dooterbutt but have run many others and have never had that issue. I buy apps all the time.

Peter Alfonso's Bugless Beast looks just like stock, with mostly performance tweaks and small additional features.
