What's the new update? (not Lollipop)

My battery life tanked after I updated. My normal day leaves me with 60-70% of the battery left. The last two days since updating I had normal usage days but was left with 30-40% battery. I did a cache clear at the end of the first day but that obviously didn't fix anything. The last few days have been rather hectic so I haven't really given it much thought and didn't even connect it to the update until I read this comment.

I actually did the update yesterday and cleared cache immediately. Battery seems to be doing alright so far. I'll report back after a full charge.

Maybe have Verizon replace your SIM card and see if it helps.

Also, the update seems to have fixed the delay in people hearing me/me hearing them while using VoLTE. This is great news! Volume seems louder too.

So much for those that said a fix for the delay issue would be a pipe dream due to the complexity of the issue. It seems to be corrected on my end as well.

Did the update a couple days ago. I think it's what caused my horrible service. Used to stay in 4G at home, now I'm without signal part of the time. Dare I say almost as bad as my old galaxy nexus. This is causing my battery to drain a little faster too.

That sucks. I can't say that I've had the same issue though.

Since the update all of a sudden my advanced calling works like a charm.

Great quality over before and when talk to people with HD also it is amazing quality. I hadn't been able to even make a call b4 the update.

When the"Cell standby" shows up, what exactly is that telling us?

Sent from my Droid Turbo 64-gig from Tapatalk.

So its already been confirmed that the update solved the VoLTE delay. An observation though.

-All calls to Verizon Wireless customers whether HD or not sound clear.

-Call to a Magic Jack and Home Line sound great.

-Calls to Sprint devices sound horrible.

-Not sure about other carriers yet.

Lol. I think since it's sprint, the call quality would be on the sprint side. I've never talked to a sprint user without bad quality on their end.

Oh I know. Just posting because the difference is even more noticeable.

I turned off advanced cashing in my features on my Verizon app. I don't know if it's coincidence, but no more signal loss.

That's normal. 1X signal will be stronger since it was the standard that made Verizon so great. VoLTE has a ways to go.
