Well, that's definitely Google Chrome's icon. But I've never seen it as part of a widget or on a lockscreen (not sure from your picture where it is).

If it's on your homescreen it might be a shortcut you accidentally created?

Is that a cropped screenshot of your home screen? Have you enabled notifications for any site in Chrome? Swipe down from the status bar and see if there's a notification related to this icon. If so you can check this Chrome help page.

I was trying to track down the cause of double Facebook notifications. It pops up every time someone comments or replies. I thought it might be from FB Messenger, so I uninstalled that and it keeps appearing. So, maybe I'm getting the FB notification and one from Chrome as well?

Yup, that seems plausible. Check Javier's suggestion that you might be getting FB notifications from Chrome. Furthermore, you can try disabling notifications temporarily for the Facebook app and see if the Chrome one still gets there.

Its a new feature of the Chrome Browser called "Chrome Notifications". So far, the most notifications I get from it are from facebook... I use my browser for FB rather than the app. But, I have also received notifications to forums I have replied to as well.

There is a new setting in the chrome browser to disable notifications in case you don't want them.
