Hi everyone, as much as I like the Moto Voice app / feature of our phones, there's one feature in particular I want to talk about now for a moment and yet your opinion as well on it is whenever I say what's up as a command to moto voice, instead of giving me the updated status and notifications in time of my phone, and Google's what's up and usually returns with the application whatsapp lol which drives me nuts. Does this happen for anybody else here? I would say out of hundred percent and Google's what's up as it turned on Google at least 75 to 80 percent of the time and of course the feature of moto Voice works a good 15 to 20 percent of the time which is not good at all. Really annoying actually lol.

Yup, happens for me regularly. It makes no sense since it's not an issue of the app mishearing you, it just ignores the command and passes it through.

I know right it's not an issue of the phone's voice is to not hearing you, because, whenever you hear with them and it is googling its always whats up! it's something with motor voice I believe. I mean if you see another posting I have on this website, I compare Moto voice vs okay Google commands. The problem is that off the charger while the screen is locked you have to activate the screen in order for okay Google commands to work. Moto voice is completely touchless. And most of the other commands work just fine via moto voice except that damn what's up command. Lol. I mean maybe it's just me, I just don't get it.

Moto Voice's 'local' recognition for this is much more reliable using 'read notifications' instead of 'what's up'. I don't even try with what's up anymore.

Oh wow I didn't realize that they had that kind of a notification. I'll have to try that thank you so much.

I've found that a deliberate pause between "what's" and "up" helps a lot.

Yes, I thought about that as well and sometimes that does help. No attention, I came home from work this morning, and while I was listening to my Pandora music on my phone with her do everyday of course, I said he okay Google commands and it didn't work at all with the music on my phone playing. Vs moto voice which if you do speak up a little bit volume wise it will kick in during the music. To me that's a big deal because I'd like to do that a lot. Im retraining my voice with a different launch phase over and over again. To keep on playing with it. Although, in my defense, it when I do put a pause between what's and up, it still Google's what's up but I guess I can keep on messing around with it. Then what's up to manage just annoying as hell most of the time in my opinion. I also really do love the functionality even though I don't call out a lot with motor voice, no default a call command on speaker phone which is really nice you'll have to remember to put it on speaker phone and you can speak your PIN in or type it in soon private which I am in most of the time it works out quite well speaking a PIN number just as a convenience feature.

I have this problem too. Well Moto Voice in general always picks up then quits. But in regards to this matter, if I say closer to "whatup/whadup/wassup/or anything with more inflection on the UP, it will give me a better response.

Haha actually yes I've noticed that as well I don't want to play. I just gave up on the what's up command and just say read notifications. Overall MOTO Voice works pretty well but yeah...... I've tried to use those okay Google commands over and over and over again but that whole not working while Pandora and and not working through the lock screen off the charger, just put the hindering in the performance.

That's because the command is "READ NOTIFICATIONS" and not "READ MY NOTIFICATIONS" :)
