Just coming on board from owning a BB. Trying to get used to Android and the short battery life of my Galaxy Nexus.

Welcome to the Android Central forums. Take a look at the Getting Started link at the top of the page. Lots of good information. The battery life on an LTE device can't compare to what you get with BB, but in return you get an extremely powerful pocket computer. Enjoy.
