What's wrong and what do I do? Lock screen loop

[Android Central Question]

I swapped my note 9 battery and ever since then my phone is stuck on a lock screen loop. I put in the pattern screen goes black then goes back to lock screen. Safe mode does nothing, I can't access anything within the phone because of this loop and I have too much stuff on the phone to factory reset. Soft reset did nothing wipe partitian cache did nothin. Is this issue because I didn't use any adhesive when putting the battery back? Or what could it be
