what's wrong with Nvidia Tegra Zone??????

I am checking out tegra zone daily for their updates and new games. But i noticed that a few really cool games such as T-racer and Galaxy on fire2 keep hanging in there with the release date of april 2011 well.. its april 27 today are they waiting until the very last day to release the games or it will be postponed for future dates? Also i was waiting for this really cool game they had for a while there My First Trainz and then the price finally appeared $ 9.95 and while i wss thinking whether i should buy it or not the game was taken down from tegra zone and its not there anymore! Does anyone know whats going on? I was trying to google about it but didnt find anything. There are only a few games for tegra 2 and it would be really good to expand gaming market for the platform as fast as possible!

I'm in the same boat as you are. I have no idea what those guys at nvidia are thinking.

I agree, I'm trying to be patient but I feel like there are really still only ~5 games available for the tegra 2 in our phones. I mean, technically the list is ~10 or so but one of those games is a beefed up version of fruit slice where you just cut some fruit with your finger gameplay-wise (although the graphics look nice), 2 are just card games, and one was a train game which I'm still on the fence about (and apparently has been taken away now?).

Perhaps they're having some trouble with the releases of all those upcoming games for some reason, or it takes a long time to get passed and put into the tegra zone marketplace?

exactly! I'm actually thinking that it may take a good few months for new games to appear on tegra zone... So I am really considering samsung galaxy s II as my next phone. I could buy games from gameloft for it.. and it supports true HDMI mirroring not like Atrix on which you can't output games on TV.... its just I need to find out if it is compatible with AT&T network.....

Well it is May 1 and those games are still hanging on tegra zone with expected date of April 2011.. I just dont get it.....

I also think it is crazy not a single 'due out in April' game came out.

But, this really has nothing to do with NVIDIA Tegra Zone, rather the complete FAIL by the developer teams to get their product out. Over ambitious and under-qualified it seems. They should have just said May...and they should really have updated it so they don't seem silly not having a product out that was 'supposed' to be out already.

Well yeahhh.... looks like their QA tests are taking a bit longer than they thought... but i agree with one of the users there, they should have announced release for may and then surprise people by releasing it early.... oh well Nvidia Tegra is a future of portable gaming so eventually there will be more and more games appearing there... just have to wait.. but i must tell you im really digging galaxy on fire 2 looks like an awesome game... Btw i am thinking to get an IPAD cuz of the wide availability of games for IOS... gameloft has lots of them....

Really nice stuff is coming to Tegra zone! Check out Trainz Simulator I used to play it on PC and its really awesome. More games to come. I guess that pretty much convinced me about Atrix... I am keeping this phone!

do you guys also get freezes on your games? Pinball HD and Dungeon Defenders forceclose or freeze all the time.

No i never had/have any freezes with any games on my phone... actually i never have any freezes or reboots on my phone at all thats one of the main reasons i decided to keep it . I started up four games at the same tme today just to see if my phone will have any lag: nova modern combat 2 samurai and dungeon defenders. I was able to minimize each of them and randomly resume with no log at all its super fast and seamless... its like i am playing games on expensive Alienware rig LOL I did though had a FC with Nova i think once but that was long time ago and not happening anymore....
Maybe you have something else running? Try to do a manufacturer reset ...

Dungeon Defenders does have some problems, it likes to force close a bit here & there. But, it's not too bad, and it just got updated the other night (or last night?) so hopefully it'll be fixed.

I wanted to get that space game they advertise so much.It looks so awsome but its really a bummer that you have to subscribe for online play and pay monthly so I decided not to buy it.I hope they add more RPG games or racing games for the atrix or the tegra zone in general they would deffinately win me as a customer.
