What's your Android Twitter client of choice?

It's been a while (like a year) since we last did this. And in the wake of the news that Tweetdeck likely got bought out, it's time once again.

So, what Twitter client are you using?

I just switched over to Twicca from the official Twitter client. Liking it so far.


On another note, in the voting options, it looks like there's a new client I haven't heard of, 'Teetdeck,' or maybe that's....it couldn't be....

Twidroyd for me

Since I can actually tolerate the Facebook app for Android, having an app w/Facebook integration doesn't really do it for me. That being said, I do love to translate feature of Seesmic. LivePreview in Twidroyd is nice, but the dependability of the app is suspect, especially after it was banned.

Voted for "Tweecaster," as Tweetcaster wasn't an option.

I've tried Tweetdeck and Seesmic, and I can't remember which one pissed me off for which reasons. One of them had lateral scrolling built in that kept bothering me when I went to swipe through my timeline. It'd scroll over to my mentions accidentally, and it did it one too many times. The other didn't notify me of my mentions for a whole day, and I missed a couple good messages.

Tweetdeck has a dark theme for my Nexus S, and that makes me happy.

Is there a twitter client that can sync unread tweets between devices? I have a captivate and a nook color (running Honeycomb). I don't want to read the same tweets in both the devices.

i used a number of the others before i settled with plume. tweet deck, seesmic, and the default, but plume hit a soft spot. love the layout and has great features.

Twicca turned me into a twitter addict. The name caught my attention and I loved the white on black minimalist look. Love the in-app picture viewer and multiple add-ons.

I've used most and Seesmic is definitely my favorite. My only complaint about Seesmic is the inability to make any changes to the UI. It would be nice to have a change from the standard red and white.

tweetdeck is the best twitter client ever created for any platform

At first, I used Twydroid (back when it was called Twidroid) then I used the Twitter app, then I used Plume, now I use TweetDeck (aka Teetdeck). None of them are perfect, but Tweetdeck is the lacking the least and its the fastest. The only problem with the Twitter app is that it doesn't always return me to the last post I read. The only problem with the Tweetdeck app is that I can't manipulate lists with it. Plume is just a little slow and considering the other two are free, the ads are kinda annoying.
