I'm satisfied with the Samsung Music App. I like the interface the most.

I use spotify because it's easier across my multiple devices. Google play isn't bad if you can get it working

I'm using UAPP (Usb Audio Player Pro) with an external DAC. Provides excellent sound quality.

I'm using Google Play Music. I have been using that since i bought my S7 in March. I am a former IPhone user and Google Play Music is 10 times better then what Apple has.

I'll second the PowerAmp app... it somehow amplifies the volume beyond the levels that the volume buttons provide, and has an outstanding EQ. I paid for the Pro version, and haven't regretted it at all. I especially have issues in my car with blue tooth - it just doesn't get a loud signal. There's a huge difference between the stock player and PowerAmp.

Jet Audio Plus. This is the second phone I've used it on. Excellent equalizer. I can plug the phone into an auditorium sound system, and get superb sound to fill the place.

I use mediamonkey pro. Has great wireless sync with the desktop version.
