have to run a live one at first since everyone will want to look at your phone

Then, reality, I want the battery to last as long as possible so it will be a static page.

That would be my alternate choice actually. I like it equally & will probably switch back and forth. I have a feeling the biohazard one will blend really well though.

Personally I'm going to see if I can find those 3D cubes in blue, then I'll switch between that and the blue bio hazard sign

Those cubes look awesome!!!

Thanks, like I said before, I have no claim to making any of these, but thanks none the less

I'm still trying to find their mute buttons.

+1...and I'm dealing with 2.5 year-old twins!!! It's a constant, "Hey daddy, hey daddy, look at this," but in STEREO!!! But, I wouldn't trade them for anything...well, maybe a Droid X at my doorstep...TODAY...:p

I would love a live one but I will have to see how fast the battery drains!!

When I get mine, I'm probably going to stick with a static one just because I don't think it's worth it seeing as how it affects the battery life.

I'll use a live until it cuts down on battery life to the point where i can't use it for a full day. Then I'll switch to a nice static one. Just stay away from the live mario one unless you want to show it off to people (or you want your battery to drain in tow hours lol).

So everyone's concern is battery life in connection to LWP?

This means one of three things:

1.) You've never owned a Android device before (or one with LWP support)
2.) You sit leave your screen on for hours at a time staring at the LWP
3.) You have never checked what is actually using your battery

On average, the LWP uses 2-4% a DAY of total battery power.
LWP ONLY drains battery when viewing it

Number 1

AH!

Well, have no worries sir (or ma'am)!

LWP only uses the battery when you're looking at it, I.E on your desktop. So the second you hit the little button that turns off the display, or open a program, it turns off! So no worries, trust me, you'll WANT to use it

Lol, thanks for the advice. It actually really helps. I like LWP mostly because it increased the show-off-ability of the phone, so I was gonna use it regardless for at least a few weeks.

I just wanna make my friends with an iPhone cry a little bit...

If you wanna do that, just hold the phone and make a call. lol

Going by this advice, I am now using the "Shake Them All" Live Wallpaper. I never really check myself, I just assumed that all the live wallpapers drained the battery (only had a Droid for less than a month).
