whatsapp automatic backup

Hello everyone! I have a new moto x4 and I installed Whatsapp. I see that, although the backup on google is enabled (daily on wifi) it does not backup my data automatically. How can I fix this? The previous phone did the backup.

Welcome to the forums. WhatsApp includes its own backup settings. Try this, open WhatsApp - three dots top right - settings - chats - chat backup - back up to Google Drive - select the frequency you prefer. On that screen you can also perform an instant backup whenever you want.
