WhatsApp Notification Issue - LG G7+ Thinq

[Android Central Question]

I just bought LG G7+ Thinq, Facing issues with Whatsapp Notifications, I am trying to disable sounds for Group Messages in WhatsApp but it is not accepting "None" as a ringtone as it should, I tried OS notification settings via Settings>General>App & Notifications> Apps>Whatsapp> Group Messages, I selected medium : No sound and it worked for a day, and the next day it got reset to High : Play sound automatically, it is not getting saved. while I tried to go to each individual group and used customized notification and made them silent individually, it is still showing "High: Play sound" while checked via Settings>General>App & Notifications> Apps>Whatsapp
