WhatsApp notifications after update

Hi all,

Maybe I'm being crazy but ever since the latest update everytime I receive a WhatsApp of text notification it pops up on the screen (lock screen and aod).

This isn't the one set in the app itself that allows you to reply, it's the small bubble that appears for a second or two..

Don't mind it so much when phone is in use but really annoying when on lock or aod. Anyone know how to stop this?

It was never an issue before the update!

Unfortunately not..

On my lock screen its a small notification at the top that also shows the message..
