Whatsapp problem

I have just purchased a Samsung Note 3 and cannot send photos from my gallery when using Whatsapp.
Everytime I try to do this I get the error message, "Unfortunately, Whatsapp has stopped."
Please can anyone help me to resolve this?

Go to that media settings then change it
If this solutions not work then update what's app or un install whats app

Thanks Japjit, but that didn't seem to work.

I've realised that if I share my pictures from Google photos on Whatsapp it does work...
....so problem resolved!

i have Samsung Galaxy SM-N900 and i can't download whatsapp. can some one help please
