WhatsApp video upload notification issue

[Android Central Question]

When uploading video to WhatsApp I get constant notification noises repeatedly until it's finished uploading. I don't seem to be able to disable this at all without disabling my incoming message notification too.
I don't want the sound alert to occur during the upload. How can I fix this?

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Try clearing the app cache for WhatsApp, then Force Stop it, and open it again. See if it persists.
