When are we getting 4.2?

I have been wrong before, but I thought that the Accounts feature was going to be available on the N7 and N10...

Has anyone read otherwise?

And are we sure that this feature won't be part of 4.2 on all platforms including phones?

Is Jellybean different on a phone vs a tablet? I have never had a Nexus phone so I don't know...

Jaysus, any advice as to what adapter to use? I've had a quick look on amazon and there seem to be a lot with very different prices...

How are you finding a lot? When I search for miracast, I only get the Netgear Push2TV box for about $76.

It would be nice to have a one finger pinch-zoom gesture, so it can be done with a stylus.

How would that even work? How do you pinch with one finger/stylus? How would it distinguish from tapping/dragging?

I haven't thought it through completely but maybe something like a small clockwise circle to zoom in and anti-clockwise to zoom out. Or maybe user-definable gestures, so I could set up zoom as I described, and somebody else could use a different gesture, or use the anti-clockwise gesture as an alias for the back button, or whatever. I'm not saying it's a giant leap for mankind, but I think it would be a nice feature.

Yes, JB on the Xoom looks just like ICS. JB on the N7 looks like the phone JB.

If that's the case, than changing the DPI on a phone would enable multi-user support (if it showed the tablet UI)..

That's a 4.2 feature AFAIK. I know that multiple roms/simply build.prop (and other) edits can allow you to switch between "phone," "phablet," and "tablet" modes seemlessly. I believe the DPI for tablet is ~190.

Yeah, what I meant was that if multi-user is going to tablet only, with the tablet specific DPI, changing the DPI on let's say a Nexus 4, or the GN when it gets 4.2 would enable the m-u feature, unless Google does something that disallows this somehow..

PS. you don't seriously have 110,000+ posts do you?

Lol I may or may not have 10,000. The rest may be superfluous ;).

That feature would probably be enabled through that method, but it also depends on how the feature is implemented on Google's end.

Yes it a good article... thanks for sharing ...

What did the author mean by this sentence?

"...Another example of great fast-switching development."

Sounds to me like they are talking about the system behind the "recent apps" button where you can quickly switch between apps.

Perhaps integrated into the Google now circle menu. A shortcut of sorts.

Ahh.. maybe you will be able to switch accounts from the same screen where you now switch recent apps?

There were talking about not having to log in/log out...

Something like that is my thought, though maybe in the Google now circle since it's otherwise empty and ripe for shortcuts.

For anyone not familiar, it's brought up by dragging upwards from the home button.

Can't wait to get Swype features. I also want to share my tablet with a sibling.
